The images of the Amur Tiger are extremely rare given that there are so few remaining in the wild. Hence, it's truly a privilege and an honor to see so many pictures of the Amur Tiger and showcase both the Amur tiger and the Bengal tiger in the context of their habitat.  Every image takes us right to the heart of the forests all these animals call home. I can't thank Dr. Goodrich enough for his generosity in sharing his photos with all of us.

Dr. John Goodrich is the Senior Director; Tiger Program for Panthera. Over the course of a 30-year career in conservation he is credited not only for his extensive contribution to research and implementation of conservation projects for the Amur tiger but also for other species in Asia and around the world.  Please visit Panthera or his website to learn more about his work with Amur tiger, read articles, watch videos and browse through his wildlife photographs.
