What is wildlife? From the word we know that it is life in the wild. The word life includes all living things- vertebrates and invertebrates, living on land, water, and air. It also includes plants and trees. In short, wildlife is all living things that have not been tamed by man. Without wildlife our world would shrivel up. They bless this land, with every step of their feet, flap of their wings, swish of their fins. Trees make this atmosphere purer, with every breath they take. Without frogs, there would be too many pests, fish clean our ocean and birds of prey clean out corpses.
Wildlife is endangered. People are hunting animals for their fur, and are cutting down trees to build homes. We need to help these creatures. People are selling animals to zoos and circus, where they are mistreated. Wildlife is in danger.
Wildlife is beautiful. It gives our world its beauty. It graces our earth. We need wildlife more than wildlife needs us. We can’t afford to loose these beautiful and wonderful creatures.
