We Couldn’t Survive Without Soil and Water

By: Emily H
Age: 8
Atlanta, GA USA
We couldn't survive without soil and water because we need clean and clear water to drink and to survive. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because soil contains the worms and they help the plants to grow and to survive. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the roots grow in the soil.  We couldn’t survive without soil and water because water is the rain and rain is the water. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because rain pours down on the soil.  We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the rain provides nutrients to the soil. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the roots grow into plants. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the plants provide fruit. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because we would eat the fruit and would have food. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the animals would eat the fruit also and also have food. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because the biggest animals would eat the big animals, which have eaten the small animals, which ate the fruit. We couldn’t survive without soil and water because we would kill the biggest animals and eat them and have food.  If we didn’t have soil and water we would not have worms, we would not have roots, we would not have rain, we would not have plants, we would not have fruit, we would not have the small animals, we would not have the big animals, we would not have the biggest animals, and we would not have food or water.
