I squeeze my feet into the synthetic fins.
I see the world through thick goggles strapped tightly to my face.
I bite tight on the snorkel.
The sea splashes gently against the side of the boat.
Hurling itself forward and receding back,
It’s motions are like gestures telling you to draw close.
And closer.
It’s peaceful surface is an invitation itself.
Painted aqua and glittered with sunshine.
SPLASH!
I jump into the warm, blue water.
It feels soothing on my skin.
I have entered a grand ballroom.
Illuminated with majestic rays of sunlight as its chandelier.
Colorful corals surround me. They come in all different shapes and sizes.
The fish dance around and about.
Each of them beaded with scales and different colors.
Schools of fish surround me. Flashes of yellow black and white dance past me in a big blur.
I believe I have found paradise.
